Feel the fear…
My family love theme parks, although I refuse point blank to join my teen on any rollercoaster that warns it’s unsuitable for those who suffer from motion sickness.
That’s why we’ll be heading to Disneyland Paris for a few days later this year – because when he’s finished riding Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and the Tower of Terror I can join the little ones on It’s a Small World and Peter Pan. Book through KidStart, and you get 2% back on Park Tickets and Package Holidays.
Here are some top tips from Disneyland Paris for getting the most out of your visit:
-
Go to the parks early and head straight for the attraction you want to see.
-
Most people head left when they enter the park and end up in Frontierland – keep to the right and go to Discoveryland instead as the rides will be less crowded then.
-
Adults with youngsters too small to ride can take turns riding using ‘Baby Switch’ without having to queue twice.
-
Pace yourselves. It’s impossible to do everything in a day, so take your time and if you’re staying for the fireworks, have a rest or a swim.
