The Disney Sensitive Bath, Body & Shampoo Range
The Corine de Farme Disney Sensitive baby range of Shampoo, Baby bath, Hair & body wash and Baby lotion have recently been awarded the prestigious Gold award for best premium baby skincare range/product at the Mother & Baby 2011/12 awards. They are reviewed by Mum of two, Penny Bennison from London.
“First off I must confess my two girls can hardly be called babies, at a very ‘grown up’ 4 and 8, but my 8 year old has very sensitive skin and a number of allergies, and since being covered in eczema when she was a baby we have never used any bath products for her bar plain aqueous cream and an organic shampoo. Over the years her eczema has cleared up, even though the allergies have remained, but she definitely has sensitive skin to match her ‘occasionally sensitive’ personality! So it was with huge excitement my 2 girls sat in the bath together ready to test the ‘baby bath sensitive’, which as well as gently cleansing delicate skin also makes soft bubbles in the water – this was a great hit and the bubbles a fun distraction from the sometimes ‘chore’ of bath time.
From a parent’s point of view the full range of products certainly ticked all the boxes – nice packaging with Winnie The Pooh characters, hypoallergenic and free from parabens, so you can be secure with soft baby or generally sensitive skin. The 400ml sizes held a generous amount of product and the pump action lids worked easily, although I imagine once opened and used, this would make them slightly more difficult to transport, so having a separate screw lid available to buy may be worthwhile for safe transport for any trips away from home…
The shampoo lived up to it’s ‘tear free’ promise and the lotion was gentle and smooth to apply – in fact all the range was a nice texture with a soft delicate fragrance – there was nothing artificial smelling or feeling about them.
I’d definitely recommend these products to parents seeking a soft and gentle bathtime range for any children from babies upwards and would love to see a Baby sensitive conditioner added for the older ‘sensitive’ kids!”
