These photos were taken in Waikiki, Hawaii, one of my favourite places in the world. Whenever I’m feeling stressed I think about the colour of the sea and the sound of the waves…

 
 

…and the beautiful pinky gold sunsets. And nothing, not even the noise of squabbling/whining/barking (that’s the dog, mostly) can spoil it.

Where do you drift away to when you want to escape from it all?

    My mom has been to Hawaii about 5 times now. She ADORES it and would move there if she could and if it weren’t so cost prohibitive. It’s paradise…don’t think I’ll ever make it but your photos are lovely! ;)

    Never been to Hawaii. Would love to go. My magical place is the west coast of Florida, Sarasota. Been going since I was born. Nothing like sunshine, sea, sand and palm trees to make the world a better place again.

    I went to Hawaii as a child and I can still remember how beautiful it was, and how it always smelled beautifully of frangipani. Lovely pink sky…

    Ahhhh that sunset is stunning. What a beautiful place. My friend used to live there and now lives in sunny Cardiff. She gets a little homesick sometimes. :D
