"Waking Beauty is the story of young princess Anna, who goes to sleep in 1909 and wakes up in 2009 where she discovers the 21st century. Anna never thought she’d be using straighteners on her hair or owning a library filled with DVDs rather than books, and on top of learning how to survive in the modern world she must choose her prince and battle against evil witches. I thought this book was really funny, a fairytale with a twist, it’s like a classic magical story mixed with make-up, boys and high school. I really enjoyed it and I think it’s definitely worth a read." |
