If your child would love a scooter, here's your chance to win one. The Maxi Micro Scooter is the ultimate scooter for six to 11 year olds. The brainchild of Anna Gibson and Phillippa Gogarty, co-founders of www.micro-scooters.co.uk, the Maxi enables older kids to enjoy the fun and independence Micro Scooters provide.

The Maxi Micro Scooter, £89.99, is available in black and purple. It has a funky 'joy stick' handle-bar and unique three-wheel and plastic kickboard construction which makes it robust and stable. It also promotes exercise and improves children's balance, co-ordination and independence.

    I’m quite pleased that for once colours are not Blue or Pink – I’m getting really annoyed with most retailers now only stocking a choice of the two (ELC, now very guilty) as it makes sharing and handing on of toys only 50% successful. I’d be happy to buy a toy that would suit Boys & Girls alike.
