Exclusive competition: WIN a Moshi Monsters Nintendo DSi games console

Submitted by on 31 March 2010 – 15:1222 Comments

Are your kids Moshi Monsters mad? Take it from me, if they're not already, they soon will be. Moshi Monsters is one of the fastest-growing children’s online games in the world, with more than 15 million players worldwide (mostly aged six to 11). The game allows players to adopt and care for their very own pet monster and blends a winning combination of fun, education and problem-solving.

We've teamed up with the game’s creators, Mind Candy, to offer you the chance to win a Moshi Monster Nintendo DSi games console, worth £150, in our fab competition.

All you have to do is answer the question below and send it with your name, address and daytime telephone number from your KidStart registered email address to competitions@kidstart.co.uk by the closing date April 15. (Please note, entries from non-KidStart members will be disqualified. To join, click here.)

Question: What is the name of the currency used in the Moshi Monster game?

Good luck everyone!

My son, who’s seven, is a massive fan of these and wants his own pet monster. So far I’ve resisted. Cruel? No. I just know who will end up looking after it, and two kids, one hubby is enough. I don’t have a cat or a dog so I don’t want a virtual pet monster too! I suppose I’ll have to give in though as this one is educational and will encourage him to spell and do his maths. At least it’ll make persuading him to do his homework easier!

  • Bev

Not heard of this one yet, unusual that son no 1 has not been on about it but like it if educational and looks like harmless fun (hate those fighting games) so will have a look at this.

I am a big fan of moshimonsters but I don’t understand the question

  • Liz (LivingwithKids)

@handymandy209 basically, when you’re playing moshi monsters you use a special currency to ‘trade’. What is the name of the currency? (Don’t leave the answer here though!)

  • Zoe

My little boy who’s 9 is a massive fan of this and so are many of his friends at school, I prefer him playing on this as it’s educational and he really enjoys it!
